We are building a house!!
I am so so excited for this! In December, we start the process of getting our very FIRST house built and that means I get to create more mood boards than I have time for! Incase you didn't guess, I started with the kitchen.
Now, there are some beautiful modern features that I love but I would be lying if I didn't admit I am more of a traditional girlie. Which is ironic because 90% of my twenties I casted out anything brown. I am also NOT a farmhouse girlie so the picture with the white kitchen? Yea, that is for the light fixtures because, my goodness, those are gorgeous.
I also love the hints of that sage green. It can't take over the look, though, so I tried to put it somewhere where it made a statement but didn't over-power.
Let's also talk about that color that contractors default with when it comes to the walls. That eggshell paint that looks too yellow? I am actually starting to grow on that color. Maybe not as much color, so, I would definitely mute it a little bit but it gives a warmth in the house that makes me smile.
